Please connect Board’s letter ibid seeking status of Pension Revision as per 7th CPC recommendations. The reports from few Railways have been received and it is seen that the progress made is meager. ARPAN report also reveals that there are 21000 cases (PSB cases) approximately pending initiation of revision at Personnel Branch. Besides, there are 9900 (other than PSB cases) pending revision. As has been stated in the above referred letter, AIRF and NFIR are expressing their concern over this pendency position.
Kindly have the position examined for taking suitable remedial action and apprise Board regarding the progress made in this regard by mail at npsrailwayboard@gmail.com, latest by 25.6.2022.

Sub:- Pension revision as per 7th CPC recommendations.
As you may be aware, pension revision of pre-2016 pensioners as per 7th CPC recommendation is still under process. At present, there are over 37000 pending cases (PSBs-25000, Post Offices, 10500 and State Treasuries-1500). Several Pension Associations including AIRF and SCOVA have desired that the pension in these pending cases may be revised at the earliest.
It is understood that these cases are pending for want of records / requisite details . Kindly arrange to have these cases completed in a time bound manner by acquiring these details from the pension disbursing authorities. A report on progress made may be sent to Board by 15.11.2021, positively.
